The Blue PRO® process is widely known to lower phosphorus to very low levels. Additional studies have revealed simultaneous removal of phosphorus and mercury. Several pilot demonstrations were conducted in 2009 and continue into 2010, maintaining <1 ng/L total Hg. Two of the final reports are now available.
